[Someone's looking a little bedraggled as he sits in the Pokemon Center, which is why the entry that appears on the network is text instead of video like his Porygon originally wanted. Oh well. At least Philip is taking his advice on something...]
If there is anyone interested in either a Ninjask or Shedinja, please contact me with your name and location so I might transfer one or both to you. I have completed my research and have no more use for them.
They are of average height and weight for their species, according to the pokedex, and have reached level 20. The Ninjask is female, though the Shedinja no longer has a gender upon evolution. I imagine it is due to being more of a husk left behind after the metamorphosis than its own individual, though exuviae can be used in my world to determine the sex and species of the animal it was left from. They have not been nicknamed. They are pictured below, with the Ninjask on the left and the Shedinja on the right.

[ooc: I'm still on hiatus, so tags might be a little slow? Not sure yet!]

[grumble grumble, silly bird was all soft.]
I am not certain on the mechanics myself, though I am now positive of the entry's validity on that topic, at the very least. It seems that a Nincada's evolution into a Ninjask can most closely be compared to the life cycle of a cicada, though a cicada's exoskeleton remains a lifeless husk when it is shed. While empty, the Shedinja does appear to be very much alive.

marlowe and i have an understanding :p
but im glad you agreed to make the post!
as long as they find happy homes its okay i guess
did the ninjasks personality change from nincada
i mean
is there anything remaining of the original pokemon or is it well and truly split into two new beings
personality and all?
text;
The Nincada's transformation into the Ninjask has not appeared to significantly affect her personality other than an increase in confidence--which I imagine has to do with becoming stronger. I would assume that the Shedinja, being a creature formed from her, will exhibit many similar traits but, as it did not exist prior to being shed, is not truly the same identity and will have a separate personality.

i sent cards to all my friends :)
did marlowe like his by the way? :o
hm
i suppose its something to keep tabs on
you might learn something valuable from how they develop hereafter

HELLO ARADIA
YOUR CARD MADE ME VERY :)
IT WAS FUNNY BECAUSE WE TYPE TO EACH OTHER AND ALSO BECAUSE I AM A POKEMON WITH A TYPE
IT HAD MORE THAN ONE MEANING
I REALLY LIKED THE INSIDE THOUGH
IT WAS VERY NICE
I will likely keep in touch with their new trainers with the assumption that something interesting will occur. They seem like very different people, which should affect how the pokemon are raised.
text;
im glad you enjoyed it then marlowe!
different training styles are always interesting to see in action
even in my travel group theres a variety of personalities and styles
and how they effect the pokemon is
well
fascinating quite frankly

Aradia, were you aware that there are some people who can only celebrate their "actual" birthday once every four human years? During a leap year, there is an extra day added to the end of February to balance out the calendar system, making it so that there are twenty-nine days instead of twenty-eight. Apparently when this occurs, the individual just celebrates on February 28th if it is not a leap year.
[He knows that she's interested in birthdays, and wow, how could he not share this exciting information.]

really???
i didnt know that!
thats so strange
that theres a perigree with a changing number of days i mean
i wonder how they decided that
