I heard there was a time when you could get one item from home... but even then you couldn't decide what it was. Other than that, there's no way of getting those particular ones back since we're in another world entirely.

There's not much we can do about it.

They are back in my own world? [Hmmn. Slightly better, but still not good.] No investigations are being held? If the one responsible for this is found, surely the answer of how to return home would be as well.

I think so. Time doesn't really move in our home worlds, so I guess they're just where you'd expect them to be until you return.

[Kira thinks for a moment.] There are people who are trying to find a way home even now. It's just not so easy and some have been here for over two years.

What is the purpose of bringing us here if not to disrupt our lives back home? How has the one responsible not been discovered yet?

Our purpose is to catch and raise creatures called Pokémon. Generally Trainers battle and win badges, Breeders breed more Pokémon.

[Generally doesn't always mean absolutely, of course.]

There's not much information given out. The residents of this world only talk the same things over and over again, so they're not off help.

But what is the purpose in that? [Were these pokemon things dangerous, like Memories?] How does this world benefit from the presence of trainers and breeders, and why were the ones taken from their worlds chosen for this?

This world seems to revolve around Pokémon. Every conflict is settled with Pokémon battles, for example. There's not a day in life that doesn't have at least something to do with them.

I'm not sure what the benefit is. I'm sure if we knew that, we'd know a lot more about the situation we're in.

Strange... It does not seem to be a very productive lifestyle, here.

[He vowed to make decisions for himself, how could he do that if he wasn't given reasons for all this.]

You do win money from the trainers you meet on the routes and defeat at the gyms, but that's about it. Most of the money is to help to battle more anyway.

Simply because something has monetary gain does not mean it is productive.

What would you consider productive, then?

Something that is worthwhile and that fulfills a purpose further than having been done only because someone said to do it. It sounds as if the actions of this world are whimsical and lacking in meaning.

Hmm... it feels like that in our point of view, but I guess it's more meaningful for the people who are native to this world.
